KKR Captain Shreyas Iyer may be ruled out of IPL 2023
KKR captain Shreyas Iyer may be ruled out of IPL 2023 due to his lower back injury. Iyer was handed over the captaincy of KKR in 2022. Under his captaincy, the team could not do anything special in the last IPL; even the team could not qualify for the playoffs, and KKR was in the seventh position in the point table. But the Kolkata knight Riders (KKR) franchise has reposed faith in Iyer in the 2023 IPL as well.

Iyer has been ruled out of the Ahmedabad Test on the fifth day between India and Australia. He did not come to bat even on the fourth day, as well.
According to BCCI sources, Iyer started having lower back pain after the third day of the game; now, he has been scanned.
Shreyas Iyer has been troubled by his back injury for a long time; he could not even play in the recent three-match ODI series against New Zealand, but Rajat Patidar was included.
Now the world’s most-watched league IPL is starting on 31st March, and Shreyas is the captain of KKR; in such a situation, Iyer is constantly suffering from lower back pain. Will he be able to fulfill the responsibility of captaincy well if he plays IPL? Will he be able to stay fit for the whole IPL?
