CSK vs. LSG: IPL match of 3rd April 2023 Highlight; Lucknow Super Giant won the toss and decided to field first. Chennai Super Kings came out to bat. CSK’s team made a tremendous performance of batting and scored 217 runs losing seven wickets in 20 overs. In response, the LSG team chased well but could not reach the target in the allotted twenty overs. And after losing seven wickets, only 205 runs could be scored. As a result, LSG lost the match by 12 runs.

  • Now Ravindra Jadeja comes to play. Jadeja was playing very carefully, but he lifted the ball too high and was caught by Vishnoi. He was bold by Wood.
  • Now Chennai Super Kings captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni comes for batting. The whole stadium echoed as soon as he arrived. His fans were eager to get a glimpse of him for a long time. Dhoni hit six in the very first ball of 19.2 overs. In 19.3, over hits six again. But unfortunately, he hit the ball in 19.4 balls but was caught by Bishnoi before the boundary. Dhoni made a special contribution to his team by scoring 12 runs in 3 balls—a video of Dhoni’s short explosive innings.
  • New batsman Mitchell Santner comes in, Scores 1 run in 1 ball. Twenty overs for Chennai Super Kings come to an end. Ambati Rayudu also remained not out after scoring 27 runs in 14 balls.

  • Now Deepak Hooda comes for batting. But in 6.5 overs, he was caught out after scoring two runs off 14 balls.
  • Kunal Pandey comes in. LSG’s batting has been inconsistent. Skipper Rahul lifts the ball very high and is caught by Gaikwad at the boundary. Captain Rahul contributed 20 runs in 18 balls for the team.
  • Now Marcus Stoinis comes for batting. Stoinis and Pandya were getting settled in the batting when Kunal Pandya was caught by Jadeja at the boundary. Pandya scored nine runs in 9 balls.
  • Now Nicholas Pooran comes for batting.
  • Stoinis is clean bowled by Moeen in 13.2 overs. Stoinis contributed 21 runs in 18 balls.

  • Now Ayush Badani comes for batting.
  • Left-hand batsman Pooran hit six in 14.5 overs by turning to the right side.
  • Pooran could not maintain his rhythm for long and was caught by Stokes near the boundary. Now Krishnappa Gotham comes to bat.
  • In 16.4 overs, Gautam got an easy drop from Shivam Dubey. Dhoni took the catch of Ayush. Badoni came in as an impact player and contributed 23 runs in 18 balls for the team.

  • The entire team of Lucknow Super Giants could only manage 205 runs in 20 overs. Meyers contributed the maximum 53 runs for the team.
  • Chennai Super Kings won the match by 12 runs.
